Well, it certainly has been long since I post a review here, mostly due to school stuff going around and graduation. But anyways, here I am again, continuing the reviewing business!
After school was officially done, my friends and I went to Bali for our own graduation trip. And when we talk about Bali, it's all about the beach, the party-ing, and of course, food. For four days, we went to several restaurants and I'd say it was all worth the money and my belly is always happy.
There are going to be 3 places that I'll review, so watch out for the next part!
For this first part of the review, I'm going to review the place in Bali that needs no introduction; Potato Head in Seminyak!
Yep, this place is really famous in Bali, and you'll need to reserve a spot to dine in here since the queue already start as early as 4PM, so you better reserve fast as this is one of the hip places in Bali. Especially since this is one of the must-go places in Bali, Potato Head got easily crowded everyday. So, reserving a spot is better than coming earlier. Really.
After we confirmed our reserved spot, we got in and the interior and ambiance were the first thing that hit my face, literally. Sunset view was really amazing from this place, and I really loved the whole structure and atmosphere from Potato Head.
Now let's move on to the food. For me, the pricing for the food here is quite expensive, but considering that this is so strategically placed near the beach (plus it's Bali), the pricing is standard in here. I noticed that the menu is dominantly for the alcoholic drinks, but it didn't come off as a surprise since, well, this is Potato Head after all.
Firstly, I ordered a drink called Asian Iced Tea. Although it's like any typical iced lemon tea out there, this one is different since this contains ruby grapefruit and passion fruit syrup. I loved this since this is quite refreshing and light; exactly my preference for a night drink.

Next comes the food I ordered, Pan Seared Barramundi. I tried Barramundi last time in Union, so I ordered this since I love its texture and flavor. This one turned out great, especially the fish since it tasted so fresh. Although I'd say that the pork bits overpowered the fish, the dish ended up having two different flavors and didn't quite compliment each other.
Otherwise, this dish is quite good for the mouth, taste-wise.

When we finished our meal, night time had fall upon Bali. Nevertheless, the view is still fantastic even at night. With good selection of house music playing throughout the restaurant, now I know why Potato Head is one of the hip places in Bali. Price wise, again, it's quite a standard here in Bali so don't be surprised of the high prices. The service is also very satisfying, specifically with all the friendly and warm staffs around. Overall, my trip to Potato Head is very satisfying. Lovin' it!
If only the tables are a little taller and wider though...
