Beatrice Quarters: All the Pinks and Pastels

For Jakartans, it is an undeniable fact that Pantai Indah Kapuk (or PIK) is the 'Golden Mine' for foodies all around Jakarta. Or 'Heaven'. Or....whatever you want to call it as.

Especially this very place named Rukan Crown.

They got every types of dishes there, really. That place is like a collection of every kinds of dishes, no joke. From the modern Western dishes like BBQ, steak, pasta, and the likes, to the authentic Asian dishes such as noodles, sushi, and many more. Every restaurants have their own unique dishes, and for some, it might be somehow the same with one and another (e.g. sushi restaurants just blocks away from another). Not to mention, bubble tea shops.

Yeah, you get my point.

Dill Gourmet Cafe: A New Whole Level of Breakfast

Just this morning, I planned on going to the Japanese Embassy with my family. I planned on asking several questions about scholarships available, and since it opened at 13.30, we decided to get some bites in Plaza Indonesia for breakfast.

Having heard of Dill Gourmet Cafe not too long ago via Instagram, I was very interested in it and actually had given some thought on going there with my friends in this Lebaran holiday. And I was beyond excited when my wish is fulfilled too quickly; which was today! YAYYY!! xDD

I suppose this place is quite new, but brush that aside. This place has its own unique ambiance, and it's quite antique! Due to its use of wood for most of the decoration, I'm loving this place so far!

Sweet-Tooth Edition: Garcon's Pastries & Tokyo Banana

In my family, I've always being known as the 'sweet-tooth' of the family. Whenever there's cakes or pastries, I just have to get one of them in my belly. Added the fact that I will not grow fat if I eat a lot, I shall abuse this power of mine :) (loljk I have my own limits)

Having attended my friend's sweet seventeen birthday in a hotel last night, I didn't join my family who went to Plaza Senayan while waiting for me. After I had previously experienced a lunch experience in Garcon, I was attracted to their pastry line. The pastry line is handled by Pastry Chef Masaaki Konno, and I've always liked Japanese pastry line since they're elegant yet sweet at the same time. I didn't get to try some since I didn't have quite enough money to get some. So, since I didn't want to miss this golden chance, I requested my mom to get some of their pastry line home.
